Position Overview:

This role involves managing and processing customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction. You will support a designated product line or customer group, handling sales volumes ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 tons and managing interactions with 27 to 50 customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Order Management Activities (SOM): Create and confirm customer orders through calls or emails, including product specifications, required timelines, and pricing constraints.
  2. Monitor product availability, enter orders, and communicate any changes to customers, ensuring they understand the implications of adjustments.
  3. Develop shipment schedules and confirm orders while being aware of sales forecasts and collaborating with sales representatives.
  4. Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling based on customer trends and previous orders.
  5. Coordinate with Fulfillment and Customer Service Management to ascertain material availability and propose alternatives to meet customer needs.
  6. Establish account setup details, including credit, logistics, and product specifications.
  7. Generate internal and external reports to track order status and identify any discrepancies.
  8. Manage customer complaints related to pricing, quality, and logistics, ensuring thorough follow-up.

Work Schedule: 8-hour days, typically Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

Qualifications:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills is required. Candidates should have 1-3 years of experience in an office or related environment, with a preference for backgrounds in data entry, customer service, and telesales.
