The Sous Chef will play a key role in the success of our Market District kitchen by assisting with menu planning, inventory management, and implementing sanitation and safety protocols. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of menu plans to meet customer demands and maximize profitability.
  • Manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and minimize waste.
  • Implement and maintain sanitation and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and high-quality products.
  • Provide leadership and training to kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and control departmental costs to ensure profitability and adherence to budget.
  • Review financial transactions and monitor departmental budgets to ensure accurate tracking and reporting.
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working order and meet company standards.
