We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Insurance Financial Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee all accounting functions related to our Property and Casualty Insurance operations.
  • Develop and interpret detailed financial reports, identifying trends or concerns that require attention.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all financial transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliation tasks to maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance processes, boost financial performance, and achieve business goals.
  • Stay updated on financial regulations and legislation to ensure compliance.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing any inquiries.
  • Mentor and assist junior accounting personnel, promoting a culture of learning and development.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is mandatory. A Master's Degree or CPA certification is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Insurance Accounting, particularly in Property and Casualty Insurance.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance accounting standards and regulations.
  • Expertise in account reconciliation and financial reporting.
  • Strong analytical capabilities, with the skill to interpret complex financial information and propose effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging with all organizational levels.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meeting tight deadlines while ensuring high accuracy.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
