Medical Communications Specialist

MedThink SciCom, a leading medical communications agency, offers a unique opportunity for a Senior Medical Editor to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality in medical communication materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and other scientific documents.
About the Position:
- Ensure consistency and conformance with established grammar, punctuation, and spelling rules
- Edit complex medical and scientific documents, collaborating with colleagues to ensure factual accuracy
- Perform lead editor role for product accounts
- Edit various types of materials, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, and disease education materials
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in English, communications, journalism, or health sciences field
- 5 years of professional medical/science editing experience, including fact-checking
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Strong medical editing skills, including substantive editing, fact-checking, researching, and referencing skills
