We are seeking an experienced Medication Administration Specialist to join our team at Liberty Senior Living.
About the Role
This is a full-time, day-shift position that requires excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate will have experience in medication administration and be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
Responsibilities- Administer medications to residents as prescribed by physicians.
- Take orders, document orders, and receive medications from pharmacies.
- Perform vital sign checks, give enemas and suppositories as needed, and maintain accurate records.
- Ensure universal precaution and hazardous chemical procedures are followed to keep residents and staff safe.
- Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and medication orders.
- Certified Nurse's Aide certification or completion of the 75-hour course and company Medication Administration course.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly or at least ten times per shift.
We offer a competitive salary range of $35,000 - $45,000 per year, based on experience.
