We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to provide exceptional patient care services in our residential setting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain, improve or restore function, and promote healing.
Key Responsibilities:- Administering physical therapy treatments to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist
- Providing skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Implementing and modifying patient physical therapy plans of treatment with PT supervision
- Measuring and recording patient motor function, strength, and muscle performance
- Monitoring patient response to treatment intervention and modifying treatment approach as clinically appropriate
- Providing clinical support and education to patients, family members, and caregivers
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Active/Valid Texas license as Physical Therapy Assistant
- In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
- SNF/Long term care experience preferred
- Current knowledge of treatment practices
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities
