We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Therapy First, a leading physical therapy clinic in Corpus Christi. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide high-quality patient care and rehabilitation services. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing materials and equipment for patient use, instructing patients on rehabilitation exercises, and monitoring patient progress. Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare materials, accessories, and equipment for patient use
  • Instruct patients on how to perform rehabilitation exercises
  • Carefully monitor and adjust patients during exercises to ensure proper form
  • Document and evaluate patient progress
  • Coordinate with the patient's family and healthcare team as needed

Requirements:

  • Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
  • National PTA certification or licensure
  • Experience in a healthcare setting or outpatient rehabilitation clinic preferred
  • Physical stamina and fitness
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
