Job Overview

Position Summary:
Envision Motors of Milpitas is on the lookout for a proficient and knowledgeable Automotive Service Technician to enhance our service department.

In this role, you will be tasked with executing both mechanical and electrical repairs as well as routine maintenance on a diverse range of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake services
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical problems utilizing diagnostic tools
  • Execute complex repairs and installations, such as engine rebuilds or transmission swaps
  • Ensure all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently within set timeframes
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs, maintenance, and inspections conducted
  • Uphold a clean and organized workspace
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and clients regarding necessary repairs and services
  • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as an Automotive Service Technician, ideally in a dealership or automotive repair environment
  • ASE certifications or equivalent training preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Physical capability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and vehicles
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must successfully pass background and drug screenings
