Service Coordinator 2 Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator 2 to join our team at the Vancouver Housing Authority. As a key member of our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) team, you will play a critical role in linking residents to supportive services and providing referral assistance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide case management services to PSH residents, including intake and resource connection with community agencies and service providers.
- Meet program requirements, including reporting, tracking, and administrative functions.
- Educate residents on service availability, application procedures, and resident rights.
- Facilitate team meetings with service providers to practice collaborative problem solving.
- Provide training to residents on tenancy obligations and coordinate such training as needed.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Social Service or equivalent in a related field.
- At least 2 years of direct service experience working with populations experiencing homelessness.
- Experience and/or training working with mental health diagnoses, drug and alcohol dependency issues, and/or co-occurring disorders.
- Valid driver's license and fewer than 3 moving violations within the last 3 years.
- Competitive salary range of $3,670 to $5,273 per month based on experience.
- Full-time, non-exempt, union-represented position working 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday.
- Medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance.
- Benefits package includes 9.11% paid into WA PERS by employer, 12 company paid holidays, and generous paid time off and separate sick time accrual.
