Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. As an LPN in our Physician Practice, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide general nursing care to patients under the direction of a registered nurse or team leader.
  • Observe and record treatment and patient progress, reporting to the practitioner on the patient's condition or reaction.
  • Administer prescribed medications and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
  • Perform clerical nursing duties, including patient referral scheduling, pharmacy coordination, and prior authorizations.
  • Refill medications as necessary or instructed by the provider.
  • Triage patients for appropriate treatment and provide education to patients regarding their condition.
  • Make patient phone calls regarding diagnostic testing results, laboratory results, or patient questions.
  • Maintain clean rooms and perform CLIA waived laboratory procedures, EKGs, and PFTs as needed.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nursing.
  • Current Arkansas LPN licensure from the Arkansas State Board of Nursing.
  • Completion of clinical rotation.
  • Maintain BLS certification.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Computer proficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
