Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper with extensive Accounts Payable experience to join our client's team in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience, with a strong emphasis on AP processes. Property management experience is a significant plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process full-cycle accounts payable, including reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and processing payments.
  • Perform daily bookkeeping tasks such as accounts receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Reconcile and manage general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, for management review.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
  • Support the property management team with financial reporting and analysis as needed.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of bookkeeping experience with a strong focus on accounts payable, preferably in a corporate environment.
  • Property management experience is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables & VLOOKUP).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
