Assistant Professor Position in Plant Pathology

We are seeking a highly qualified Assistant Professor to join our team in the Department of Plant Pathology at the University of Georgia. As a key member of our research and extension team, you will contribute to our comprehensive and integrative research and outreach portfolio, spanning basic, translational, and applied programs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct innovative and team-based research to improve production agriculture in Georgia, the nation, and the world.
- Develop and implement effective extension programs to ensure the economic viability of agriculture and contribute to national and global food security.
- Collaborate with our scientists to increase the understanding of basic biology through new discoveries in pathogen biology, resistance genetics, and host-pathogen interactions.
