Key Responsibilities:
  • Define project scope, specifications, and identify potential risks.
  • Effectively coordinate with subcontractors and trade supervisors.
  • Review project takeoffs and general conditions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, design teams, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Engage in project meetings and facilitate coordination among trades.
  • Develop and manage project schedules and assist in long-term planning.
  • Prepare Requests for Information (RFIs) and document changes in scope.
  • Represent the organization in discussions with clients and subcontractors.
  • Gather pricing details and estimate changes to orders.
  • Assist in the preparation of owner payment applications.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards among subcontractors.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate on project documentation and as-built records.
  • Manage subcontractor change orders, including negotiations.
  • Oversee project close-out processes, including warranties and final payments.


Qualifications:
  • Experience with project management software, especially Procore.
  • Strong command of MS Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong analytical approach to estimating.
  • Understanding of how estimating supports construction operations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Prior field experience in the construction industry or skilled trades.
  • Ability to accurately interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
