Career Pathway Coach

The Career Pathway Coach provides employment readiness, social/emotional skills development, and overall access to resources and services to secure youth stabilization, retention, employment placement and success. This role involves recruitment and enrollment of eligible youth, collecting and submitting participant files, and maintaining accurate records. The Career Pathway Coach oversees required participant activities, identifies and partners with local employers for student placement, and secures Worksite Agreements. They also place students in age and ability appropriate employment opportunities, oversee participant progress, and collect and submit youth time sheets as required for student payroll. Additionally, this role involves providing employability case management to enrolled participants, including identification of career goals, resume assistance, and employment application assistance. The Career Pathway Coach must attend monthly individual and team trainings, attend all mandatory CPC Trainings, and maintain accurate and secure documentation for all activities.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working in job development, career coaching, etc.
- Experience working with students in educational settings
- Strong organizational skills, including data collection and record keeping
