Position Overview
This role is responsible for overseeing all field sales operations within a designated territory. Engaging in direct, face-to-face interactions with each assigned account is crucial, ensuring timely and consistent contact. The primary focus is on expanding the customer base by acquiring and onboarding new clients, alongside enhancing sales within existing accounts. The role emphasizes new business development (80%) while also providing support to current clients (20%). The actual time spent on these activities may vary based on company needs and the specific characteristics of the territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a specific territory with the goal of increasing market share.
- Achieve market share growth primarily through the identification and acquisition of new accounts.
- Address customer concerns promptly, ensuring that issues and opportunities are communicated to the relevant Medical personnel.
- Strategically plan, organize, and implement effective initiatives utilizing all available company resources to boost market share.
- Coordinate sales efforts within the territory by leveraging all team selling resources, including Telesales, CEG, Mid Market SAM Team, and Up Market SAM Team, to meet the complex demands of a dynamic industry.
- Attend medical conventions and seminars, and participate in training programs as directed by management.
- Collaborate with Medical personnel to execute company programs and corporate initiatives effectively.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and commit to ongoing education to enhance sales skills and overall business acumen.
- Engage in special projects and undertake additional duties as necessary.
Qualifications
- Sales experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
- A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel), are essential.
- Strong abilities in sales, communication, presentation, customer service, negotiation, and telephone etiquette are required.
Other Requirements
- A valid driver's license is necessary.
- Candidates must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 in accordance with state/local laws, with potential exceptions for medical or religious accommodations.
