Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Teller at M&T Bank. As a key member of our branch team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and resolving routine problems in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to branch customers, responding to their needs and resolving routine problems in a timely and professional manner.
- Transaction Processing: Process a variety of financial transactions in an accurate and efficient manner, adhering to established customer service standards.
- Lobby Management: Actively engage in lobby management, meeting and greeting customers, and proactively inquiring and taking ownership to address their immediate needs.
- Account Maintenance: Process customer/account maintenance accurately, including completing and accurately logging all customer complaints in the appropriate system.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and minimum of 6 months customer service experience, including data entry and/or cash handling experience.
- Skills: Proven verbal communication skills, proven interpersonal skills, and proven ability to demonstrate exceptional customer service.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods of time, prolonged use of hands and fingers, and ability to lift light to heavy objects weighing 5lbs – 30 lbs.
M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $31.43 Hourly (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
