About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Kerry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production and manufacturing equipment. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair equipment, ensuring that it operates efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform regular maintenance and repair tasks to prevent equipment downtime
  • Conduct predictive maintenance procedures to identify potential issues before they occur
  • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve high efficiency and productivity
Requirements
  • 1.5 years of industrial maintenance experience
  • Advanced mechanical knowledge of industrial machinery
  • Electrical knowledge of industrial machinery
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a level to facilitate understanding
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written and/or verbal procedures or instructions
  • Ability to be a team player
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work experience within a food manufacturing and distribution environment
  • Use and understanding of predictive tools, such as infrared thermography and ultrasound
Working Conditions

The Maintenance Technician will work in a food manufacturing plant and warehouse environment. The role requires the ability to kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions, and perform elevated work. The ability to work in hot, cold, or wet environments is also required.
