Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate key performance indicators and operational costs to pinpoint and execute strategies that enhance efficiency and minimize expenses.
- Design and oversee effective turnaround procedures.
- Foster and maintain relationships with Branch Managers, personnel, service providers, and suppliers.
- Communicate daily vehicle requirements to vendors concerning vehicle turnaround and movements.
- Prepare weekly forecasts for subcontractor requirements to facilitate cleaning and vehicle relocation processes.
- Oversee the cleaning and servicing of vehicles at the QTA to ensure seamless fleet movement from return to ready line.
- Conduct quality control by inspecting vehicles to assess subcontractor performance.
- Maintain ongoing communication with the Branch management team to comprehend logistical needs and assist Fleet Planners in ensuring subcontractors meet vehicle reservation demands.
- Promptly investigate and collaborate with Fleet Planners and customer service representatives to resolve operational and customer issues as they arise.
- Lead daily strategy meetings with subcontractor managers, Fleet department, and Fleet planners/customer service representatives.
- Coordinate the movement of vehicles to and from overflow lots.
- Supervise driver activities to ensure maintenance vehicles are positioned optimally to maximize lot space and traffic flow.
- Serve as the primary contact for the driver team on a daily basis and assist Managers in securing specific upgrade vehicles for customers.
Qualifications
- Preferred experience in the car rental sector.
- Process-oriented with a proven track record in managing large operational teams.
- Outstanding communication abilities (fluency in multiple languages is a plus).
- Expertise in problem resolution and effective complaint management.
