We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Accountant to join our team at Experis, a Manpower Group Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate job costing, variance reporting, customer pricing, and inventory accounting.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the month-end close of the general ledger and balance sheet analysis.
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.
- Manage physical inventory counts, maintain inventory cost records, and analyze inventory usage variances.
- Maintain the cost accounting system, including standards and work center rates.
- Create and update pricing estimates for customers.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of standard cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Print or flexible packaging experience.
The successful candidate will work in an office environment and/or hybrid environment. The office environment is temperature-controlled, and the hybrid environment varies. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a professional, clean, and distraction-free environment with quality internet access and a dedicated phone line.
