Job Summary:

We are looking for a talented and innovative Executive Chef to oversee all kitchen functions, including food purchasing, preparation, and maintenance of quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for food, cooking techniques, and leadership. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for training employees, controlling food costs, and ensuring that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes and standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Food Preparation and Quality Control: Oversee all food preparation, including purchasing, storage, and inventory management. Ensure that all food and products meet our quality standards and are consistently prepared and served according to our recipes and standards.
  • Team Management: Train and develop kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and other kitchen personnel. Provide guidance and support to ensure that all team members are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Cost Control: Monitor and control food costs, including inventory management, waste reduction, and cost-effective purchasing practices.
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop new menu items, including recipes, pricing, and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and storing food and supplies.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Ensure that all kitchen areas, including equipment, utensils, and storage areas, are clean and sanitized according to our standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, including responding to customer complaints and feedback.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Culinary degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, including experience in menu development, inventory management, and team leadership.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Proficient in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
