We are seeking an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at ClubCorp. As a key member of our culinary operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation department, ensuring the highest quality standards are met, and driving business growth through innovative menu planning and cost control.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our members and guests, while controlling food costs and ensuring profitability.
- Manage the procurement of food supplies and kitchen equipment, including inventory management and budgeting.
- Supervise and train a team of kitchen staff, including cooks, prep cooks, and dishwashers, to ensure excellent food quality and presentation.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and other department heads to achieve business objectives and drive revenue growth.
- Represent the Club in member interactions, including daily table visits, soliciting feedback, and promoting the Club within the community and industry.
- Interview, select, and hire employees, and plan, schedule, and adjust hours of work and responsibilities among team members.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume food service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
- Culinary school graduate preferred.
- Health sanitation card and foodservice management certification as required by state regulations.
