Salary Range: $36,155 - $52,425

Position Overview: The Residential Care Operations Supervisor is tasked with overseeing the daily functions of direct care personnel within a state-managed facility. This role is governed by applicable state and federal regulations as well as agency policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative leadership to direct care staff by managing and assessing project assignments, interpreting laws and policies to address issues, and ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of clients in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Deliver direct care services to clients as necessary during shifts.
  • Train and supervise direct care staff on techniques for de-escalation, identifying triggers, and minimizing restraint use.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into complaints and allegations of abuse or neglect, review administrative issues, and prepare reports with recommendations for management.
  • Monitor the material and equipment needs of direct care staff and clients to assist in budget formulation and justification.
  • Represent the agency at community meetings, hearings, and seminars.
  • Provide technical support to staff and families regarding agency operations and programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a formal education equivalent to a high school diploma or a diploma from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program, along with three years of experience in direct patient care within a facility, home, or private service organization, including at least one year in a supervisory role.

Licensure:

Candidates must obtain licensure as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Arkansas within six months of employment.
