Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Administrative Assistant to join our growing team at Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a key point of contact for healthcare provider clients, ensuring efficient communication and coordination.
- Assist in managing projects across different departments, ensuring timelines are met and tasks are completed accurately.
- Handle inquiries and documentation related to insurance providers, including claims, authorizations, and reimbursements.
- Maintain detailed records and manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry.
- Provide support in preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with insurance providers, resolving any issues or discrepancies related to billing and claims.
- Ensure the office runs smoothly by managing supplies, coordinating meetings, and assisting with any ad-hoc administrative tasks.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience working in an administrative role, preferably within the healthcare industry.
- Familiarity with insurance providers such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, UnitedHealthcare, etc.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing workloads and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and healthcare-related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- A positive, team-oriented personality and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate?s degree or higher preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare or insurance-related administrative role is strongly preferred.
