Assemble Heat Exchangers Specialist

Job Summary:

This is a full-time hourly position scheduled Monday through Friday, 2pm to 10pm. The successful candidate will receive shift differential pay and overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Test heat exchangers to ensure quality and performance.
  • Build crates using hand and power tools, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Install grommets using grommet guns and tubes, following established protocols.
  • Assemble fans, belts, motors, RTTS exchangers, and capture seal oil coolers using electric power drive units.
  • Observe, guide, and assist with training, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Assist in other areas of production as needed, provided the candidate has the necessary qualifications and training.
  • Perform work in a safe manner, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Domestic and international travel may be required, including weekend travel, depending on project needs.
Requirements:
  • Regular and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Exposure to blueprint reading is required.
  • Mechanical ability, including operation of air impacts, drills, and other power tools, is necessary.
  • Ability to read tape measure, calipers, and micrometers is required.
  • Ability to learn and advance quickly, with a strong problem-solving mindset.
  • Self-motivation and ability to understand and carry out simple oral and written instructions are essential.
  • Ability to read, write, and use basic math skills is required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in English are necessary.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment written math test, physical, drug, and background test is required.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED with 1-year related work experience is required.
  • Strong mechanical ability and experience using power tools and forklifts are necessary.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of Epicor, Ultimate software, or similar ERP systems is desirable.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
