Job Summary:

Rose International is seeking a highly skilled Patient Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a Patient Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of patient care, including billing, collections, and revenue cycle management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physician Billing and Collections: Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections for physician services.
  • Follow-up with Payors: Follow up with payors on the status of claims to ensure timely payment.
  • Generate Appeal Letters: Generate appeal letters as needed to resolve denied claims.
  • Review and Overturn Denials: Review and overturn denied claims to minimize revenue loss.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of related experience in medical billing and collections.
  • Skills: Detailed-oriented, organized, analytical thinker, and proficiency in Epic systems.
