Job Summary

Rose International is seeking a highly skilled Patient Accounting Representative to join our team. As a Patient Accounting Representative, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage patient accounts, including billing, collections, and follow-up on outstanding balances
  • Ensure accurate and timely billing, including submitting claims to payors and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any concerns they may have
  • Work closely with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulations and guidelines related to patient accounting and billing
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; billing/coding/collections experience preferred
  • 1-3 years of related experience in patient accounting or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work with patients, payors, and healthcare providers
  • Proficiency in Epic or other electronic health record systems
Preferred Qualifications
  • Billing/coding/collections certification
  • Experience with patient accounting software and systems
Work Environment
