We are currently seeking a full-time, skilled Automation Engineer to enhance our team.

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for the design, construction, and configuration of the DeltaV platform, which encompasses:

  • DeltaV Server infrastructure, including host servers, thin clients, and controllers
  • DeltaV Firewalls and switches
  • DeltaV Virtual Machines
  • Integration of DeltaV with external systems such as BMS and PLC

This role involves providing technical oversight of the System Integrator (SI), ensuring the quality of documentation produced, and representing the client's interests throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the DeltaV platform
  • Exhibit expertise in DeltaV control system design within the pharmaceutical sector
  • Lead and supervise the work outputs of the System Integrator, including the establishment of technical standards and work processes
  • Collaborate effectively with System Integrator Engineers and Developers

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in Biopharma engineering, operations, or manufacturing is preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in DeltaV control system design is preferred
  • Knowledge of instrumentation is advantageous
  • Proven technical leadership and teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with GMP regulations, compliance requirements, and computer system validation
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to diverse audiences
