Middle School Science Educator

Uncommon Schools NYC is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Middle School Science Teacher to join our team. As a Science Teacher, you will play a critical role in shaping the educational experience of our students and helping them develop a love for science.
Responsibilities:- Instruction: Teach an interdisciplinary, NGSS-aligned curriculum that includes analysis of key areas such as climate and Earth's systems, the cosmos, matter and energy transformations, electricity and magnetism, and molecular and ecological systems.
- Data Analysis: Meet weekly with your principal and/or instructional coach to analyze and respond to trends in student work samples and assessments.
- School Culture: Build positive relationships with students to ensure they feel seen, loved, and heard.
