About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Service Sales Advisor to join our team at Rusnak Auto Group. As a Service Sales Advisor, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our service department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule service appointments and ensure accurate documentation of client and vehicle information.
  • Provide comprehensive and accurate written cost estimates for labor and parts.
  • Recommend additional services and value-added services based on service history and vehicle inspection.
  • Establish promised time with clients and coordinate with dispatchers as needed.
  • Ensure each repair order is signed by the client and that they receive a copy.
  • Establish client preferred method of payment and obtain credit approval as required.
  • Notify dispatchers of incoming work and periodically check on repair progress.
  • Implement and maintain a service marketing program.
  • Review and close repair orders to ensure work is completed and additional work is noted.
  • Ensure client receives thorough explanation of all completed work and charges.
  • Maintain quality control process to eliminate comebacks.
  • Meet or exceed established Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores.
  • Efficiently handle telephone inquiries regarding appointments and work in progress.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Service Advisor or similar position in the automotive industry.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (bi-lingual in English, Spanish, Mandarin Chinese or other language is an asset).
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
