We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and administer radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals, to patients for diagnostic imaging purposes.
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information to physicians for diagnostic interpretation.
- Prepare stock solutions of radiopharmaceuticals and materials.
- Work within the Nuc Med Tech scope of practice according to policy and procedures.
- Follow all general infection control measures and those specific to the department.
- Complete required documentation accurately immediately after completing each case.
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification.
- Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
