MasTec Industrial is seeking a highly skilled Rigger Journeyman Certified to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for setting up rigging for construction projects and/or manufacturing plants.
Key Responsibilities- Setting Up Rigging: Ensure that all rigging equipment is properly set up and configured for safe and efficient use.
- Inspecting Equipment: Regularly inspect all rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and free from damage or wear.
- Communicating with Crews: Communicate effectively with construction crews and other stakeholders to ensure that all rigging operations are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring Safety: Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on the construction site, and ensure that all personnel are aware of and follow safety protocols.
- Collaborating with Supervisors: Work closely with project supervisors and other team members to ensure that all rigging operations are carried out in accordance with project plans and specifications.
- Education and Experience: 4+ years of experience in a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Certifications and Training: Applicable rigger training and certification from a recognized organization, such as NCCER or NCCCO.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong knowledge of rigging equipment and procedures, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Competitive Compensation: $39/hour, commensurate with experience.
