Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Ironworker Helper III to join our team at MasTec Industrial. As a key member of our construction crew, you will assist in the assembly and installation of structural steel members, ensuring the safe and efficient completion of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the setup and operation of hoisting equipment, including cranes and rigging systems.
  • Help to align and secure steel members, using a variety of tools and equipment.
  • Participate in the cutting and welding of steel members, using oxyacetylene torches and other equipment.
  • Collaborate with other crew members to ensure the safe and efficient completion of projects.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by project supervision.
Requirements
  • 2-3 years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 months of experience in a helper role.
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including safety rules and operating instructions.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
