Job Summary

As a Welder Journeyman at MasTec Industrial, you will be responsible for joining metal components using various welding processes. This role requires adherence to site safety requirements and following project specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and welding symbols to perform tasks accurately.
  • Perform GTAW, SMAW, FACW, GMAW, and other mixed-type welds based on project needs.
  • Field install welds, including structural, duct work, and pipe installations.
  • Assist pipe fitters with measurements, material preparation, and installation.
  • Work with other crafts at levels appropriate to training and skills as requested by project supervision.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School Diploma or GED Certification (preferred).

Work Environment
