Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Superintendent to join our team at Phoenix Industrial. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and delegate site activities to achieve deadlines and production goals
  • Supervise and mentor a team of foremen and field personnel
  • Ensure timely delivery of materials and verify quantities
  • Document all damage to materials and verify change orders
  • Monitor paper flow and ensure all documents are accounted for
  • Plan ahead and order necessary materials or equipment to maintain crew productivity
  • Investigate and resolve contract disputes
  • Recommend best practice improvements for production, performance, quality, and safety
Requirements
  • Five years of experience in a supervisory role in heavy industrial construction
  • Knowledge of MIC Health and Safety programs and project-specific regulations
  • Ability to forecast and monitor costs of projects
  • Understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and blueprint reading
  • Leadership and communication skills
