Accounts Receivable Analyst Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our team at Randstad. As an Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring that customer payments are accurately and promptly applied, and that payments balance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Apply customer payments and ensure accurate and timely application
  • Find and utilize the actual remittance advice (customer definition of invoices being paid)
  • Apply customer service-instigated credits and forward information to marketing or customer service
  • Process and apply credit card payments, confirming amounts with customers as needed
  • Review and apply driver-delivered checks for completeness
  • Document the outcome of customer contacts and forward information for follow-up when credit card payments are declined

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable
  • Accounting coursework and experience with ERP systems
  • Analysis and detail-oriented skills
  • Experience with Excel, including VLookups
