Freight Forward Sales Representative

About the Role:

Maersk is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Freight Forward Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing assigned customers and budgets, pursuing and securing business in alignment with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Management: Manage assigned customers and budget base, pursuing and securing business in alignment with business objectives.
  • Solution-Oriented: Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Market Understanding: Develop a deep understanding of target customers and the assigned account base, staying informed of significant trends, rate changes, and policies.
  • Prospecting & Networking: Research and analyze the territory to establish business contacts with potential customers and stay ahead of competitive and industry trends.
  • CRM Excellence: Ensure customer relationship management tools are updated on time and quality maintained.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Established and successful field sales experience.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential.
  • Analytical: Ability to research, analyze data, and identify trends.
  • Adaptability: Innovation and problem-solving skills that include the ability to develop and propose supply chain solutions.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset with a willingness to go above and beyond for customers and colleagues.
