As a key member of our team at Nolan Transportation Group, you will play a vital role in identifying freight transport opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. Your primary responsibility will be to promote and deliver our services in accordance with established policies and procedures while driving company growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Utilize independent judgment and discretion to determine which shippers have freight transport opportunities, which lanes to quote, and what price to quote customers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with shippers, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Operations and other departments to track loads and ensure seamless logistics.
- Provide up-to-date information to shippers and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
- Collaborate with coworkers in a team-oriented environment to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of company activities, industry trends, and government regulations.
- Travel to client, customer, carrier, and/or prospect sites as needed to build relationships and drive business growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common industry documents and reports.
- Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and basic arithmetic.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer programs.

Physical Effort:Maintain a stationary position for extended periods; move about the office, operate computers and files, as needed; and frequently communicate with others. Scheduling:This is a full-time benefits-eligible position, working Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Travel:Local travel is required. Out of state travel is limited, but may be required for special training/conferences.
