RN Med Surg Position

Corewell Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit 2SE at Grosse Pointe Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient-centered care plans.
- Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and families.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Michigan required.
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months.
- Specialty certification highly recommended within 2 years.
