Key Responsibilities
  • Guide and empower the clinical nutrition team to maintain high standards of practice
  • Supervise a team of experienced dietitians, entry-level dietitians, and diet techs
  • Collaborate with Sodexo's national patient menu implementation and management
  • Ensure policies and procedures are in place and maintained in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
  • Foster a culture of learning and professional development
  • Drive performance improvement and quality management projects
  • Provide nutrition care to inpatients and outpatients as needed
  • Precept dietetic interns and oversee clinical rotations
Requirements
  • Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
  • Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire
  • 6 years of experience in planning, managing, and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes
  • 5 years of experience as an experienced specialized practitioner
