HR Generalist Job Description

LHH is currently partnering with an organization in Baltimore, MD to fill an HR Generalist position. This role will require working 5 days a week onsite. If you are looking to start a new position and assist a great organization, please apply today


Responsibilities:
  • Manage payroll process and ensure timely and accurate payment to employees.
  • Develop and implement orientation programs for new hires to ensure a smooth onboarding process.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on employee relations and engagement initiatives.
  • Manage employee advocacy and conflict resolution to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes to ensure a consistent and efficient hiring process.
  • Develop and oversee employee benefits and wellness programs to promote employee well-being.
  • Develop, promote, and enforce personnel policies to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Promote employee career development and job training to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Serve as a primary contact for work-site injuries or accidents and ensure proper reporting and follow-up.
  • Oversee employee benefits and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Human Resources or Business Administration.
  • Strong Excel skills and ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • SHRM or PHR certification and 3-5+ years of experience in the field.
  • Organizational skills and ability to multitask efficiently.
  • Strong communications skills and ability to effectively communicate with employees and management.
  • High discretion and ethics, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Skilled at conflict resolution and able to maintain a positive and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
