Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team at Aaron's Inc. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely transporting merchandise using a forklift truck or reach truck to designated locations within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload trucks, stock shelves, and fill orders with precision and efficiency
Lift, load, and dolly heavy loads (up to 300lbs) with ease
Perform physical labor for up to 10 hours per day, maintaining a high level of energy and focus
Operate a powered forklift truck on a regular basis, moving merchandise or equipment in a distribution center

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus
2 years' experience operating a powered industrial truck
OSHA certification preferable, employer certification also considered
Primary skills include experience with counterbalance or stand up forklift, order picker, and carton clamp attachment
Other powered industrial truck skills will also be considered
Safe, verifiable operating history from previous employer would be appreciated
Typical work schedules are Mon-Fri, with multiple shifts available
Works within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision
