Oncology Registered Nurse - RN

Position Overview

Responsibilities

The Oncology Registered Nurse will:
  • Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with established policies and protocols.
  • Develop and monitor patient care plans, ensuring effective communication of patient conditions.
  • Act as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive patient care.
  • Execute physician and nursing orders accurately.
  • Assess and facilitate patient discharge planning in collaboration with the healthcare team.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
  • BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Registered Nurse credential from the appropriate nursing board required prior to employment.
  • Chemotherapy certification is preferred.

Education:
  • Diploma from an accredited nursing school or equivalent professional licensure at the time of hire.
