Senior Account/Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Account/Business Development Manager at Hovione, you will be responsible for building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with key senior-level decision makers and influencers at assigned customer accounts. This includes identifying, developing, and closing new sales opportunities, creating demand for the organization's products, solutions, and services, and achieving revenue targets by increasing revenue spend per account.
Account Management:
You will manage the client interface of assigned accounts, providing outstanding commercial service through fast, trustworthy, and knowledgeable responses to customer demands. This includes establishing relationships with colleagues in different countries and job functions to ensure enquiries from new or potential customers are responded to accurately and promptly.
Business Development:
You will create and execute account management and development plans for the accounts under your responsibility. This includes preparing and issuing bids against business opportunities identified with prospective customers, identifying and winning projects that fit Hovione's available resources and manufacturing capacity.
Negotiations and Contract Management:
You will participate and assist in negotiations of CDAs, Sales Contracts, and Quality Agreements for allocated accounts in close collaboration with the Director of the area. This includes leading the negotiation of complex contracts, including supply agreements, joint development agreements, and licensing agreements.
Customer Service and Technical Support:
You will coordinate with the global regulatory, production, and R&D groups to provide a superior level of customer service and technical support. This includes analyzing data, including demand forecasting, within Hovione's Customer Relationship Management system to ensure accurate forecasting and reporting.
Market Trends and Opportunities:
You will identify market trends and demands and propose ideas for new products and services. This includes identifying new opportunities for the existing product, solutions, and/or services portfolio, as well as opportunities for value creation and IP generation.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related scientific field. You will also require relevant experience in account management, business development, or a related commercial area in the pharmaceutical sector, as well as experience in leading others in project contexts. You will need to possess solid knowledge of account management, marketing, sales, and business development principles and practices, as well as fluency in English.
