About the Role:

We are looking for a seasoned ASIC Design Engineer with a strong background in VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog RTL coding, as well as expertise in DFT methodologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in the full product life cycle of ASIC Design, including test insertion and ATPG tools, hierarchical scan testing, and memory BIST and logic BIST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex ASICs using VHDL, Verilog, and SystemVerilog RTL coding
  • Develop and implement DFT methodologies to ensure high-quality designs
  • Collaborate with test engineers to implement ATPG vectors on tester hardware
  • Generate test patterns and analyze and debug test failures
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful product launches

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 9+ years of relevant experience in ASIC Design
  • Experience with Cadence, Mentor, and/or Synopsys test insertion and ATPG tools
  • Experience with hierarchical scan testing, IEEE-1500, and/or IEEE-1687, test compression, JTAG IEEE, and IEEE AC JTAG
  • Experience with memory BIST and logic BIST
  • Proficiency in HDL (VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog) and scripting languages such as Tcl, Python, or Perl
  • Knowledge of Synthesis, P&R, and Static Timing Analysis a plus
