About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Internal Medicine Physician to provide services at our Nursing and Rehabilitation Centers located in the Maryland area. As part of a collaborative team, you will admit, round on, and discharge short-term rehab and long-term care patients at our partner Skilled Nursing Facilities. You will be responsible for history and physical exams and medical rounds, as well as providing cross coverage as needed by colleague medical staff.

Responsibilities
  • Admit, round on, and discharge short-term rehab and long-term care patients
  • Perform history and physical exams and medical rounds
  • Provide cross coverage as needed by colleague medical staff
  • Evaluate patients with changes in condition and attend to patients as requested by facility staff
  • Collaborate with Nurse Practitioners and maintain compliance with all facility and Five Star Physician quality initiatives
Requirements
  • Maryland Board of Physicians licensure
  • Federal DEA/Maryland CDS certification
  • Internal Medicine/Family Practice board certification/eligibility
  • Skilled Nursing experience preferred
