Job Summary

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in our Long Term Care department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse/Director of Nursing, you will utilize your nursing skills and knowledge to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' physical and emotional needs, and develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and communication
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry developments
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current LPN license in the state of Maryland
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working in a long term care setting, preferably with geriatric patients
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
