Laboratory Operations Manager

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Laboratory Operations Manager to oversee the activities of our Phlebotomists and Specimen Technicians. This role requires minimal supervision and involves directing the support areas of the laboratory, as well as overseeing all support operations and workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Directs the activities of Phlebotomists and Specimen Technicians
- Monitors support areas of the laboratory
- Oversees all support operations and workflows
Requirements
- Associate's degree in a health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of Phlebotomy/Laboratory experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Certification by a national agency
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with clerk phlebotomy operations and offsite workflow processes
- Knowledge of quality improvement, centrifuge and eye wash maintenance, and refrigerator temperature logs
- Knowledge of inventory control
- Compliance with regulatory requirements, OSHA/VOSHA Standard Precautions
Salary Range
$47,000 - $75,000
