Laboratory Supervisor

At Rutland Regional Medical Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for directing the activities of Phlebotomists and/or Specimen Technicians, ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory support areas.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and supervise the work of Phlebotomists and/or Specimen Technicians
- Monitor and maintain laboratory support areas, including offsite locations
- Oversee support operations and workflows
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, OSHA/VOSHA Standard Precautions, and confidentiality policies
- Communicate patient information to physicians, office staff, and hospital employees
- Provide clinical laboratory information to all customer groups
- Associate's degree in a health-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2 years of Phlebotomy/Laboratory experience; supervisory experience preferred
- Certification by a national agency
- Knowledge of quality improvement, centrifuge and eye wash maintenance, and inventory control
- Competitive salary: $31.10 per hour
