Position Overview:

As a Senior IT Systems Specialist focusing on eBusiness Systems, you will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing Oracle eBusiness Systems. This position requires a proactive individual who can operate with minimal oversight while delivering technical assistance for customizations and extensions across Finance and Oracle Projects modules.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather system specifications and business/technical requirements, creating comprehensive specification documents.
  • Conduct user demonstrations and training sessions to showcase application features effectively.
  • Ensure completion of all necessary Change Management tasks and adhere to relevant SOX control requirements.
  • Apply industry-standard project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Enhance business knowledge through various resources to develop and deliver effective business solutions.
  • Track deliverables and provide management with necessary reporting.
  • Exhibit strong teamwork by sharing knowledge and experiences with colleagues.
  • Be open to travel as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited university or 10 years of relevant industry or technical experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience supporting Oracle eBusiness 12.2+ applications, particularly in Financials and/or Oracle Projects.
  • 5+ years of experience in Oracle Apex UI development.
  • 3+ years of programming experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and RESTful APIs.
  • 5+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, XML, and application performance tuning.
  • Experience with Oracle Database 12c or higher.
  • Familiarity with Oracle tools such as BI Publisher and Oracle Workflow Builder is preferred.
  • Programming experience in Java and developing shell scripts using Linux is advantageous.
  • Experience in a collaborative, multi-developer environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SCRUM, Kanban) is a plus.
