This position provides clinical supervision and guidance to behavioral health services in an inpatient setting. The successful candidate will coordinate and evaluate the delivery of services, provide clinical consultation, and oversee the performance of counselors.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement long-term and short-term goals for behavioral health counselors
- Supervise and evaluate the performance of counselors in the inpatient setting
- Maintain awareness of advances in behavioral health and best practices
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services and programs
- Plan, organize, and guide the clinical work of the inpatient team
- Provide clinical supervision and consultation to counselors
- Collaborate with practice managers to review data reports and impact clinical workflow
- Oversee crisis intervention and provide direct care as needed
- Provide coaching and supervision to staff on clinical issues
- Work with practice managers to ensure clinical coverage for services provided
- Master's degree with independent licensure
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a behavioral health environment
- Valid GA driver's license
This role operates in an inpatient behavioral health crisis stabilization setting. The employee will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly. The employee must be able to travel between Gateway sites and in the community.

The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand, or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds. The employee must have the ability to sit for long periods of time at a computer. The employee frequently uses fine hand/eye coordination, hearing, and visual acuity.
